😊{New Year Special}😊 Gaganyaan Mission—India’s First Human Spaceflight Program

3 April 1984, Rakesh Sharma became the first Indian to go into space by sitting in the Soviet Union's Soyuz T-11 space rocket. Kalpana Chawla has gone to space twice in NASA's Columbia Space Shuttle on 19 November 1997 and again on 16 January 2003. Sunita Williams of the India has also gone to space twice. But he was also unseated by the American Space Agency NASA. Despite having a capable space agency like ISRO in our country, when it comes to sending astronauts into space, we sometimes have to resort to Russia or America. During this time, no one knows how many capable Youngsters would have left the country because of their desire to become astronauts and they must have settled in another country.

But it's not gonna happen now because now we Indians are also going to go into space with are own space craft, yes, now our vehicle is also going to go for a space adventure. I am talking about India's first human space flight mission of Gaganyaan mission. Let's explore it.

What is "Gaganyaan Mission"?

Gaganyaan is a crew orbital space craft. That is, people can go into it by ISRO i.e. Indian Space Research Organization HAL i.e. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and DRDO i.e. Defense Research & Development Organization has been formed together. The Gaganyaan spacecraft has two parts: the crew module and the service model. The crew model is the part where the astronauts will sit. This spacecraft is planned to send two or three astronauts. The crew model weighs 3725.  After siting astronauts and keeping their safety equipment will be around 5300 kilograms. This is followed by the service module. The service module is the part of the spacecraft where fuel is placed to run it, it can also be leave from the space craft. The weight of the service module will be around 2900 kilograms and thus the total weight of the Gaganyaan space craft will be around 8200 kilograms.
Let me tell you that the design of the crew module and service module has been done by ISRO and HAL, while the DRDO will provide necessary technology for astronauts going into space and equipment for the remaining protection. And after all, its crude will be launched in the beginning of 2022. And according to the news that is coming out now, if everything goes well then three astronauts will be sent in this space craft, or at first only one astronaut will be sent.

Launching of "Gaganyaan Mission"

The Gaganyaan will be sent from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, for this, the GSLV Mark III launch vehicle will be carried out about 16 minutes after the launch, it will end up about 400 kilometers above the surface of the Earth. Before the space craft has to come to Earth, it will separate the service module and solar panel from itself. At the time of coming down, its speed will be around 216 meters. To control it, it has taken two parachute to control it. That means we have an extra security. This parachute will reduce its speed to about 11 meters.
